About

whats the plan?

To complete a 100km ultra-marathon within 12 months of being on a ventilator for 25 days. Sound crazy?

You are probably right.

I spent the month of February 2023 in the ICU, on life support, in a coma. ~50% of people survive my medical predicament.

I aim to:

1. Raise money for a leader of endurance. That we can all look to for inspiration. Skye Whitfield, an 8-year-old with cancer.

2. Bring some awareness to what ventilator and ICU survivors go through and our journey through recovery.

I believe that with your help, we can make a difference in Skye's life.

“It is the uncommon story, the uncommon leader, that inspires others to seek more of themselves, work harder. And rise to the occasion. It is in the unseen work that self leaders are made”.

As perpetuated through the psychology of rehabilitation. A continual commitment to growth.

This is my goal.
